Some Local Authority Public Health teams commission free exercise on referral programmes. Exercise on referral programmes are designed for inactive adults, they tend to be beneficial to adults who are overweight. If you have type 2 or type 1 diabetes this free programme may be the confidence boost you need to get going.

The Exercise Referral Service in Westminster takes place in seven Everyone Active Leisure Centres across Westminster.

The Better Health Team in Hillingdon provide opportunities for patients with existing medical conditions to be referred to a specifically designed physical activity programme.

The Everyone Active Exercise Referral scheme, provides a 12-week tailor made package of exercise sessions. Participants will work with fully qualified instructors to develop an activity programme suitable to their conditions.
